Extreme Couponing- My One Complaint
100 boxes of cereal. 80 bottles of mustard. 50 bottles of barbecue sauce. I was overwhelmed at the number of products, while watching the "Extreme Couponing" show on TLC. While I admire their desire to help their families, I have one complaint- What about helping food pantries?
I didn't see one person on that show giving back to the community and that really bothered me. With food pantries needing the help more than ever, these folks should take their talent at couponing and give back.
I, myself, have a small stockpile but I always try and give back. For example, our church is collecting health and beauty products for City Mission and I'll be donating a bunch of freebies and products I've received.
So, Extreme Couponers, I suggest you find your local food pantry and start giving back. Unless you have a family of 50 in your home, you don't need THAT much food and household supplies.
I'd love to hear your thoughts, please post a comment!
