My Gobble-Gobble Turkey Sandwich Recipe
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Wonder bread. All opinions are 100% mine.
Thanksgiving is not just about turkey, gravy and the trimmings. It's also about the left-overs! We love enjoying turkey left-overs for days afterwards. Whether it is in a casserole, sandwich or side dish, the possibilities are endless. Some of our favorite recipes include turkey tetrazzini, turkey and dumplings, and more.
Also during the busy holiday weekend, I like to know that I can serve fast, healthy meals to my family. We always go out shopping on Black Friday and then spend the rest of the busy weekend, decorating the house for Christmas and visiting with family and friends. And when I have to come up with meals, I always keep in mind my son Cam is extra picky about what he eats, so I have to be more creative with nutrition with him.
Wonder bread to the rescue! They now offer Honey Wheat, 100% Whole Wheat and Wheat Sandwich. They are all baked with no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives, contain 25% less sodium than traditional wheat breads and have zero grams of trans fat.
Here is the turkey sandwich I made for my son:
Here's what you need:
2
slices Wonder Bread
1
Tbsp. MIRACLE WHIP Dressing or mustard
3
oz. oven-roasted turkey breast, sliced
1/2
cup prepared STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Turkey
2
Tbsp. cranberry sauce
I choose to include a little less cranberry sauce and opted out of the stuffing for Cam's sandwich.
I hope you enjoy this recipe. It's all about getting creative with your left-overs!
