My son Cam loves to hang out with his friends. As you can see above, Cam (2nd from left), his friend Mike and cousins Ashley, Halle, Gaby and Olivia, enjoyed the G-Force movie at the theatre a few summers ago. I try to plan a movie outing with him and his friends, at least once a summer. This year, I'm taking the kids to see "Man of Steel", they are all looking forward to that movie.

But when we aren't at the movies, when it's too hot out or kids get bored, many (like my son) will want to be parked in front of the video games all summer, but the Active Family Project wants to change that.

I am always looking for new ideas to keep Cam entertained and active. He likes to play kickball with his friends and ride bikes, but we also plan trips to the local park and pool.
