I am really bummed out about this because we LOVE Amazon Prime. Besides the super fast shipping, we love watching movies on Amazon Prime. I just finished watching Mr. Selfidge, highly recommend for Downton Abbey fans!

Amazon disclosed that it is discussing a possible $20-$40 increase of the Prime Yearly Subscription fee which is currently $79/year. Officials from Amazon did not offer any indication as to when this rate increase might go into effect and they did not disclose whether current Prime members will locked in at the $79/year rate.
