Marrying into a midwest family, getting together for parties is something that we all do, at least once a month. My husband Walt is from a big family and it is always someone's birthday or anniversary or someone is getting married.

This year, my son Cam is now taller than me! (I'm 5'9"). He definitely needs new clothes for spring and summer!
I'm about to start the yearly stock-up of new shirts, shorts and more for him. My goal every year is to keep our clothing new looking and perfect, all summer long. This is definitely a challenge with my 11 year old son, who loves to play outside!
We are a P&G family and love the new Gain Flings and the new Tide Collection. They will make your life a breeze! And here are some of my time-tested laundry tips:

#1: Soak stains immediately. When you get a stain on something, you have to deal with it immediately. If you let it dry, it's permanent. 

#2: Learn how to sort. You thought it was just about whites, darks, and delicates, but your clothes will wind up much cleaner if you separate them not just by color, but also by fabric type and water temperature. And to prevent lint from spreading, separate linty fabrics like towels, flannels, and sweatshirts from corduroys, permanent press, and other smooth fabrics that can pill.

#3: Don't overstuff. You want to wash full loads only so you save on water use and energy consumption, but you don't want to fill your machine so much that your clothes can't get clean. High-efficiency front loaders can hold up to 20 pounds of clothes, but top loaders max out at about 16. 

#4: Add soap, then stuff. Before you add your clothes, add your detergent, allowing it to dissolve in the water fully before adding your clothes. Your soap will work more effectively. I love Tide Pods and the new Gain Flings laundry detergent, so easy to use!

Hey, it's me, Cameron! I am helping my mom out with this blog post. I help out a lot with photos too, for her blog. I also have my own web site, love playing Minecraft and Xbox!
Recently I got a really cool Old Spice Re-fresh Body Spray kit. I really liked the cool kit it came in and all the treats inside. I keep all the scents in my bathroom, all set to get ready for school or just hanging out with my friends. The ear buds were really awesome, I love listening to music on my iPad with my new ear buds. And the duct tape comes in handy helping Dad around the house! 
I just started middle school last September and looking and feeling my best is really important. I'm involved in sports at school and keeping a bottle of Old Spice Re-fresh body spray is great for right after gym class. Whether it is Old Spice Swagger, BearGlove or Figi body spray, all the scents are awesome. Mom said not to spray too much. She says I have to be responsible spraying it on!! I loved the scents so much, I asked Mom to pick up some Old Spice deodorant and body wash, the next time she was at the store.
The Old Spice hair product was really cool too, I didn't know that Old Spice made hair products!

Recently we had the opportunity to check out Castaway Bay. While we are a Cedar Point family, we had never been to Castaway Bay, so this was a special treat! 
First, we checked into our room.

We also checked out the arcade. Cam loves playing video games, and he especially loved the big claw machine. 
Later that night, we got a little snack from room service and slept in the next morning. We had a nice late check-out at noon, so Walt and Cam decided to head back down to the waterpark. I took advantage of the quiet time and read a book! I also checked on the radar, as the weather was still pretty bad on Saturday and we were headed back home an hour away.
