Holiday Project: Advent Calendar

Each year, we usually have a paper Advent calendar, with the little doors that open. This year, I decided I wanted a calendar I could put treats in for my 9 year old son Cam.

So when I was in Pottery Barn Outlet on Black Friday, I saw this advent calendar and knew it was perfect. I just checked their web site for it but they only appear to sell this advent calendar. The one I purchased was less than half the price.

And btw, if you love Pottery Barn but not the prices, their outlet prices are amazing. They have Pottery Barn stores at Tanger Outlets.

Yesterday, I stopped by Target and stocked up on $1 treats and small toys from the dollar section and got a few boxes of $1 candy canes to fill the pockets. When Cam got home from school yesterday, he was so excited, he had to look in every pocket!

This advent calendar is definitely going to be a yearly tradition!
