Cleveland Natural History Museum Trip

Last Saturday, we went to the Cleveland Natural History museum for the afternoon. We hadn't been there since Cam was 7 years old, so now at age 10, I thought it would be a good chance to see the new exhibits and planetarium.

Before starting out, we had lunch at their new cafe, pictured above is my husband Walt and Cam! The food was really good and reasonably priced, I recommend checking it out.

First, we decided to go through the exhibits, as the planetarium show wasn't until 4 pm.

Cam compared it to Night at the Museum movie, one of his fave movies. While Cam is really into video games and museums might seem boring to him, he really enjoyed looking at the exhibits.

I think one of Cam's favorite parts of the museum was the dinosaurs. He's always loved dinosaurs and seeing the exhibits up close was amazing.

We also went out to see the animals in the outdoor exhibit. They were really cute but I felt sorry for them, sitting in the drizzly rain! I liked the fox and the owls the best.

Lastly we saw the Planetarium show. Cam loves space, planets, etc. and he was excited about that. It was a great show and it was nice that they took questions afterwards.

I highly recommend the museum for an educational and fun day with the family!
