Cedar Point Mom Blogger Event
/Cedar Point recently invited us to enjoy a day at Cedar Point for their Mom Blogger event. We invited Cam's friend Justin and Uncle Jeremy went with us too. It was a beautiful day, perfect, with a cool breeze coming off the lake. We could tell it was going to be a good day!
When we first go there, the kids decided to play a few arcade games-
Then we headed over to the Coral Courtyard for a buffet lunch. So delicious! There was so much to choose from, hot dogs, turkey sandwiches, fruit, chips, giant cupcakes and more.
They decided they wanted to go on the bumper cars first-
Then we walked toward Power Tower and they went on Monster-
And Gemini was high on their list of rollercoasters, they loved it!
We decided to head up the trail and they wanted to go on the Mine Ride-
Then we headed up the trail, dipped candles (family tradition) and the kids goofed off for these photos-
While we were over there, of course we had to visit the petting zoo. I loved the baby cows, I just wish there had been some baby ducks!
We headed towards the front of the park and the kids went on Blue Streak and a few other rides. It was starting to get late, so we played a few more games and picked up cotton candy on the way out and our free souveniers from Guest Services, plush Snoopy toys for the kids and really nice Gatekeeper bags for the adults!
It was an awesome day and I want to say thank you to Cedar Point for inviting us! If you get the chance, be sure to head out to Cedar Point and check out Gatekeeper, and all the other amazing rides, shows and more.
Here is what I recommend you check out at the park!
- Gatekeeper. As you enter the park, you will notice the impressive ride overhead, that is Gatekeeper!
- Luminosity. Very cool. Highly recommend. Great way to end a fun day at Cedar Point!
- Dinosaurs Alive! This is a very fun adventure for your whole family, especially the little ones who loves dinosaurs!
- World famous fudge. I can't say enough about their fudge. Yum, yum. Be sure to try the chocolate/peanut butter.
- The lake. Be sure to take a stroll down the boardwalk, the lake is beautiful.
- Some of my favorite eateries at the park are Pink's hot dogs, Johnny Rockets and Midway Market.
- Famous French Fries. Whether you get the cheese topping or just have ketchup, they are delicious!
- HalloWeekends doesn't start until the fall, but it is one of my favorite times of the year at the park. They offer haunted houses, shows and Halloween fun for the little ones too.
- And of course, don't forget to enjoy the roller coasters!
