Target Circle teacher discount: How to sign up
Teachers can sign up now at Target.com/circle/teacher. Products eligible for the discount can be found here.
Exclusions apply and the discount can't be used on backpacks, clearance, electronics, lunch bags, items sold and shipped by Target+ Partners and more.
With the free Target Circle, available on the Target app for Apple and Android devices, there are hundreds of Circle offers for all shoppers, typically ranging from 5% to 50% off in categories such as groceries, clothes, furniture, baby products, health, seasonal and more.
All shoppers nationwide with an existing Target.com or RedCard credit or debit card are automatically enrolled in Target Circle. Shoppers also can join by making a Target.com account or by giving their phone numbers in a Target store. Learn more here.
Retailers often offer teachers discounts throughout the year including during Teacher Appreciation Week in May and ahead of the back-to-school season.
Kohl's teacher discount ends Sunday
Kohl's teacher discount for educators and school staff ends Sunday, July 18.
For the first time, teachers get 20% off in-store purchases when they show a valid school ID. The three-day discount started July 16.
Like with the retailer's other coupons some exclusions apply, and this discount isn't valid on gift cards, electronics, toys, beauty and fragrance and select brands including Crocs, Columbia, Eddie Bauer, select KitchenAid, Koolaburra by UGG, Lands' End and Levi's. Dollar General teacher discount
Through Sept. 6, Dollar General has a new teacher discount with 30% off qualifying, in-store purchases of back-to-school and stationery items.
Qualifying purchases include pens, pencils, markers, crayons, paper, notebooks, scissors, binders, folders, glue, rulers, backpacks and lunch kits, according to the promotion's fine print.
Teachers need to sign in or create a Dollar General account and then can register and complete the educator verification process at DollarGeneral.com. Approximately 24 to 48 hours after verification, teachers will be able to add the discount to their account through a digital coupon.
The coupon can be used up to four times during the promotion and is limited to one use per day. To apply the discount at checkout, enter the phone number associated with your Dollar General digital coupon account on the pin pad at the register.
Staples teacher discount
Staples is offering a 20% teacher discount now through Sept. 30 to teachers and school administrators who participate in Classroom Rewards, a new program on the chain's Staples Connect app.
The office supply retailer also announced the launch of Classroom Rewards last week. With the program, parents can give a percentage of their in-store Staples purchase back to an enrolled teacher or school of their choice, the retailer said in a news release.

Staples: Staples has a Teacher Rewards Program that gives you 5 percent back in rewards and 10 percent back in rewards for teaching and art supplies. You also get free shipping at staples.com.
The Container Store: Join The Container Store's Organized Teacher Discount Program, and you'll get special discounts emailed to you throughout the year. Just for joining you'll get your first offer that you can redeem in-store, online, or by phone.
Michaels: Teachers get 15 percent off their purchases at Michaels every day.
Jo-Ann: Sign-up for Jo-Ann's Teacher Rewards and you'll get a rewards discount card that will get you 15 percent off your purchase every day of the year.
Ben Franklin Crafts: Teachers get 10 percent off classroom materials every day at Ben Franklin.
Hobby Lobby: Hobby Lobby gives teachers 10 percent off but they must pay with an organization check.
Party City: You can get 10 percent-20 percent off at Party City, but you'll need a signed letterhead from school to get it.
A.C. Moore: Teachers get 15 percent off sale and regular price purchases at A.C. Moore.
Lakeshore Learning: Teacher's Club members at Lakeshore Learning get 15 percent off everything in-store.

Remember to check with your local bookstores and papers to see if they have a teacher discount.
Barnes & Noble: Through the B&N Educators program, teachers get 20 percent off the publisher's list price for purchase for classroom use and 25 percent off during Educator Appreciation Days.
Half Price Books: Teachers and librarians are eligible for an Educator Discount Card that will get them 10 percent off their purchases all year long.
Book Warehouse: Book Warehouse has an Educator's Book Club that will get them 15 percent off everything in store.
Bookmans: Bookmans' Project Educate gives a 20 percent discount on all purchases for teachers.
Books-A-Million: Books-A-Million's Educator's Discount Program gives educations, librarians, and homeschoolers a 20 percent discount on classroom items and books.
The New York Times: Teachers, as well as students, can get a special rate on The New York Times subscriptions.
