Ziploc Adventures @ Meijer

I got (14) packs of Ziploc containers (some not pictured) for $7 at Meijer on Saturday! How did I do it? They had a sale, Ziploc containers 2/$4. I had a $1.50/2 manufacturer's coupon + a $1.50/2 Meijer Mealbox coupon.

I luckily picked a coupon-friendly cashier and all the discounts came off the order with no problem! I did get some strange looks (and questions) from the person behind me in line. He asked if I was canning food (and I guess storing in the containers?) and I said no, it's just a good sale.

Filling the cart with a lot of one item really does make people comment.  But luckily a few weeks ago, when I really stocked up on pancakes no one said anything! They probably would have asked if I was sponsoring a pancake breakfast or something!
