Verizon FiOS- the Best Family Friendly Entertainment

There are so many reasons Verizon FiOS would be awesome for our family. We are a high-tech family and love to watch movies, record TV shows and more! There are so many advantages to Verizon FiOS.

First, we have a lot of thunderstorms and bad winter weather here in Ohio. Being able to watch TV, without the signal going out, would be amazing! Just recently, we had several tornado warnings and of course, the signal went out.

Second, Flex View is awesome! With Flex View, you can buy, rent and watch on-demand video titles on your FiOS TV, on your computer or on your mobile phone. Instead of being stuck returning a half-watched DVD because I ran out of time, with Flex View, I’d be able to view on my phone or laptop. This is also great for my son Cam, who likes to start a movie and then finish it later.

And speaking of my son, parental controls are very important. I don’t let my 8 year old son play violent video games or watch inappropriate TV. Verizon makes it easy to make sure he is safe while watching TV.

Another way that Verizon FiOS shines is their Media Manager. We love taking photos in our household and being able to access digital photos would be amazing! You can also access music files, Internet radio stations, home videos, Internet videos from certain web sites directly from your FiOS-connected TV.

With the On Demand feature, when others are watching their show, I can use the OnDemand feature to go back and watch those Prime Time shows I missed, or the ones that come on later than I stay up. My son Cam loves to record Star Wars cartoon and other Nick cartoons.

One of my very favorite features are their TV widgets. While I am watching the latest juicy episode of “The Real Housewives”, I can tweet to my friends how awesome the episode is! I can also access Facebook and Youtube.

Our Internet is pretty fast (and definitely faster than years ago, remember dial up??), but I would love Verizon’s blazing fast Internet. FiOS offers the fastest upload speeds and amazingly clear streaming video. And even when the kids get out of school, FiOS does not slow down, even during peak hours.

And finally, being able to access 24/7 tech support would be great. With their in-home agent, they provide fast, easy solutions to common FiOS problems.
