Mom Central recently gave me the opportunity to try out the new Yiftee app. You can choose gifts from over two million local restaurants and shops to say happy birthday, thanks, congrats or just because. Recipients are notified instantly by email, text message or Facebook® post about their Yiftee gift and can pick it up using any smart phone or tablet.

I have several friends and family members who live far away and sending them a gift through Facebook is very easy!

Downloading the app was fairly straightforward. I received a few credits to send gifts to friends. I decided to send a McDonald's Yiftee gift card. I clicked on McDonald's and then build a gift. At the next step, I put in the amount I wanted to send them. I was able to type in a gift message for them as well. They received their gift cards, very quickly. I wish the app was available in more areas and with more merchants. I can definitely see myself using it in the future!
