Kalahari Trip Review

We recently got the chance to visit Kalahari waterpark in Sandusky, OH. We went on a Tuesday, which wasn't very busy at all, a nice bonus! It was a treat for us because we had never been there.

I managed to get 1 photo of the kids before they raced into the waterpark!

When we first walked in, we all immediately noticed the candy store. Those candy apples looked so delicious!

We didn't get a chance to check out the mini-golf or video games, but we'll have to do that next time!

We've been to Soak City and Wildwater Kingdom, but outdoor waterparks are definitely different than an indoor waterpark. It was fairly warm, but they had fans running. And I liked that I didn't have to worry about the kids getting sunburnt! The last time my family and I went to a water park, we all got sunburn, even with applying sunblock!

The kids ran around for at least 2 hours, enjoying the wave pool, lazy river and water slides, before coming back and asking for lunch. We ate at the Zulu Grille. Cam and Rocco got cheeseburgers and Gino got a slice of pizza.

They went back to enjoy the park. After 3 more hours, the kids finally decided they were tired and time to go home! It was overall a really fun day and we'll definitely be back!
