Walgreens Balance Rewards Program

Starting 9/16 Walgreens will start their new rewards program called Walgreens Balance Rewards.  You can enroll online now but the actual program will not start until 9/16.

Here are some of the details that have been made available:

• Members receive exclusive savings every week on popular products
• Savings and points will be earned when members show their card, provide telephone number or scan mobile phone
• Points can be earned for buying specific items in store and online
• Earn points for Walk with Walgreens (10pts/mile)
• Earn points for immunizations and prescriptions (exclusions apply)
• Exclusive benefits for AARP members
• Points will not expire as long as members remain active by shopping at Walgreens at least once every six months and redeem their points within 3 years.
• Members can access their point totals at checkout, online or through their mobile device.
• Duane Reade flexrewards program points will be converted to balance rewards and become available when customers join in the new program.
