Minute Ready to Serve Rice: Delicious Meal in a Minute

I am always looking for fast, easy, healthy meal ideas. Minute Rice has always been one of my go-to meal solutions, for lunch and dinner. Rice can be time-consuming to make, especially with a busy schedule. But Minute Ready-To-Serve Rice makes it easy! When I was given the chance to try out the new Minute Ready-To-Serve Rice, I decided to create my own recipe, using Minute Rice, a cup of pre-cooked boneless chicken and low fat cheddar cheese.

I first cooked the Minute Rice, so easy to zap in the microwave for 1 minute! Then I cooked the chicken, then combined everything and melted the cheese over the top. Paired with a small garden salad and this is a nice meal!

 

I will definitely be buying more of these because they are so versatile and can be used with so many recipes. They would also be great mixed with veggies! There are so many healthy meal ideas.

You can also use Minute Rice to make dessert! Here is a recipe for Banana Rice Pudding, I found on their web site:

vanilla or chocolate pudding cups
1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed

ripe banana, sliced

Prepare rice according to package directions. Cool slightly. In a medium dish combine rice, pudding, whipped topping and banana.
