Pinterest Experiment: Baked Hard-Boiled Eggs

I think I was as skeptical as anyone when I read on Pinterest, that I could bake eggs and they would magically turn into hard-boiled eggs. With Easter a little over a week away, I was hoping to find an easier way to hard boil eggs for egg decorating. So I decided to try it!

I decided to start with 12-

They said to use a mini-muffin tin, but I don't have one, so I used my regular sized muffin tin.

I baked them as instructed above, then submerged them in an ice bath-

After they cooled off, then came the real test. Would they be cooked? Would they peel easily? I was pleasantly surprised-

They were cooked all the way through and very easy to peel. I recommend this cooking trick!
