Saving Our Box Tops= Saving Our Schools #BTFE

My son Cam is in middle school and they need everything from computer equipment to smart boards. I am excited to team up with Box Tops for this second post. In this post, I am making a Box Tops collection box and share with you our plan to increase our goal of $1000 to $2000!

When Cam was in elementary school, they had a collection drive every year. They would offer the classroom with the most Box Tops collected a pizza party and prizes for the kids. This was a great motivator for the kids. Every month, the teachers would send home Box Tops collection papers, encouraging the kids to collect their Box Tops.
You can find collection sheets to print off on Box Tops Pinterest page. I also loved this page because they offered more tips for increasing Box Tops collections.
For this collection sheet on the top of the box, I printed it from here. I got a plastic storage container at Walmart. For this project, I picked up the larger size.
I also found these really pretty glass for bottles for 70 cents each. Add in letter stickers and here's what I made! I choose B for Box Tops. With smaller letters, you can spell it out or put your school's name.
Now for our neighborhood plan! Every year we have a pumpkin carving party in our neighborhood and this year, we are going to ask everyone to bring a baggie of Box Tops, along with food donations for the local food pantry. There are a lot of kids in our neighborhood, so I'm hoping we gather up a lot of Box Tops!
