Instant Pot is cautioning users of its Gem 65 8-in-1 Multicooker oval model to stop using affected models with the following batch codes: 1728, 1730, 1731, 1734, and 1746. Customers have reported the underside of the Instant Pot getting way too hot and melting. Yikes!
Have one of these affected Instant Pots? Here’s What you should do…
Look for 4-digit batch code on the silver label on the bottom of the pot.
If you own one of the affected batch codes, stop using it immediatly.

At this time affected customers are being offered a replacement Gem 65 8-in-1 Multicooker.
