Yahoo Class Action Lawsuit

Did you live in the United States or Israel and had an email account through Yahoo or related websites such as Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Finance, Tumblr, and Flickr between 2012 and 2016? If so, you may be eligible for compensation resulting from the settlement in a class-action lawsuit.

This settlement is the result of a massive data breach that happened between 2013 and 2016. During that time, millions of email addresses and other personal data were stolen. Although the settlement won’t be finalized until April 2020, Yahoo is informing users of their options now. If you’re a Class Member in this lawsuit, you received an email from Yahoo this week with the subject line, “Yahoo Security Breach Proposed Settlement.”
