I wanted to share some really yummy recipes with you all today, featuring Pillsbury's new Artisan Pizza Crust. Our family loves to make homemade pizza and this new crust looks like a great new option for pizza night!

BBQ Chicken Pizza

1 can (13.8 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated artisan pizza crust with whole grain
2 cups coarsely chopped cooked chicken breast

3/4 cup barbecue sauce

2 cups shredded reduced-fat mozzarella cheese (8 oz)

1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or cilantro, if desired

  • 1 Heat oven to 400°F for dark or nonstick pan (425°F for all other pans). Spray 15x10-inch pan with sides with cooking spray.
  • 2 Unroll dough in pan; starting at center, press dough into 15x10-inch rectangle. Bake about 8 minutes or until light brown.
  • 3 Meanwhile, in medium bowl, place chicken and barbecue sauce. Using 2 forks, toss until chicken is coated with sauce.
  • 4 Sprinkle 1 cup of the cheese over crust. Spoon and spread chicken mixture evenly over cheese. Top with red onion and remaining 1 cup of cheese. Bake about 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. To serve, cut into 6 rows by 3 rows. Sprinkle with parsley.

Or if you are looking for a dessert idea, here's a yummy one- Summer Berry-Basil Mini Pizzas.

1 can (13.8 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated artisan pizza crust with whole grain

2 tablespoons cornmeal

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt
1 container (6 oz) Yoplait® Greek Fat Free honey vanilla yogurt
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
Grated peel of 1 orange
1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
1/2 cup raspberries
1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup sliced strawberries
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil leaves
  • 1 Heat oven to 400°F.
  • 2 On work surface, unroll pizza dough. Using 4-inch round cutter, cut out 8 rounds. You will need to gather dough scraps and reroll to get 2 of the rounds. Sprinkle 2 (11x9-inch) ungreased cookie sheets with cornmeal (1 tablespoon each). Place 4 pizza dough rounds on each cookie sheet.
  • 3 Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 4 Meanwhile, in small bowl, stir together 1/4 cup brown sugar, the cinnamon and salt. Transfer dough rounds to 1 cookie sheet. Divide brown sugar mixture evenly among rounds, spreading evenly.
  • 5 Set oven control to broil. Broil dough rounds 4 inches from heat 30 to 60 seconds, watching carefully, until brown sugar mixture bubbles. Remove from pan to cooling rack. Cool completely.
  • 6 In large bowl, beat yogurt, cream cheese, orange peel, 1 tablespoon brown sugar and whipped topping until well combined. Top each mini pizza with a big scoopful of yogurt mixture and berries. Sprinkle with basil. Enjoy.
